My response to the Daily Prompt titled Core.
I wonder what it would be like to travel to the Earth’s core? I know it’s not going to be like Jules Verne “Journey to the Centre of the Earth” or anything similar like in the hollow Earth theory. There won’t be any living dinosaurs or uncontacted civilisiations, no Nazi’s that went into the Earth with super technology – not that I’m disappointed there are no Nazi’s hiding in a hollow Earth I want to be clear – but I bet it would still be an incredible journey and an amazing sight.
Although now that I think about it, you probably wouldn’t be able to look at it, the core that is, without your eyes melting or something.
Do flat Earthers, who are inexplicably making a comeback, recently, believe the Earth has a core? How thick do they think the Earth is? Is the Earth like a thin crust or deep pan pizza? Why has no one fallen off the edge?
I would love to meet someone who genuinely believes the Earth is flat, I have like a million questions for them.
I wonder if they would travel to the Earth’s core with me or would they be too scared that we will drill right through the Earth and fall through the bottom of it?
