Around the world with Dave – Stop 12

(I meant to post this yesterday but forgot so sorry it’s a day late)

Welcome to around the world with your lovable and witty host, me, Dave. This is the place where I tell you all about the places around the world I hope to one day visit.

Our stop this week is slightly different. It’s a Bank Holiday here in the UK so I thought I would do something a little closer to home and something a bit more outdoorsy.

This week’s stop is Pembrokeshire Coast Path, where’s that you may be asking? Wales! It’s a National Trail in Wales. Pembrokeshire Wales to be exact which as we all know is south-west Wales. OK we all clear on that now?

Pembrokeshire Coast Path is just that really, a 186 mile or 300 kilometre trail along the Pembrokeshire coast. I told you this week’s stop was something a bit different. What better way is there to spend a Bank Holiday then going for a nice walk, getting some fresh air, and enjoying a nice view? And it’s May, the time of year that traditionally the weather starts turning sunny although as I’m writing this it was raining a minute ago but let’s ignore that and stay positive.

I like going for a walk around parks and fields, it’s a nice way to spend a day, you get outdoors away from computers and screens, and you get some exercise, but I’ve never actually done a proper hike along a National Trail.

Some of the views along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path  look beautiful and would be the perfect place to have a picnic. It might be a bit of a pain carrying a picnic basket but I think it would be well worth it.
