Today’s daily prompt is called It Builds Character and it asks;
Tell us about a favorite character from film, theater, or literature, with whom you’d like to have a heart-to-heart. What would you talk about?
I feel I’m mad enough without adding having heart-to-heart conversations with fictional characters. That feels like a pretty slippery slope.
Also they are fictional characters. They are not of this world. They are not of this time a lot of them. They are not of this reality. Thus it would be pretty hard to have a heart-to-heart in many aspects because our frames of reference in terms of experience are so vastly different that they might struggle to fully comprehend my problems meaning that they are only basically only useful for talking at and not to. Now I understand there are benefits to speaking your problems aloud, but you can do that to a wall or some other kind of inanimate object, the advantage there is you can go at your own pace and stop when you like and not be burdened by how the hell do I politely ask this person to leave so I can climb into bed with some tea and biscuits and watch a film.
