Daily Prompt: Immortalized in Stone

Today’s daily prompt is called Immortalized in Stone and it asks;

Your personal sculptor is carving a person, thing or event from the last year of your life. What’s the statue of and what makes it so significant?

I’m really really tempted to be annoying and go for an abstract concept just to mess with the sculptor. A concept qualifies as a thing.

And personal sculptor? Is that a thing? Do people have those? How much sculpting do you want doing to justify having your own personal sculptor?

If you are just getting the one thing done, like in this prompt, you could just hire a person for a bit for this specific project. I do not think it requires your own personal sculptor but hey its your money, do with it what you want, at least you are stimulating the economy I suppose. I can’t imagine there is a great deal of work for sculptors at the moment.

As for what I want carving, nothing. I’ve got nowhere to store a bloody sculpture. It’d just be in the way. I suppose the sort of person who has their own personal sculptor has a giant house to store all the sculptures in.
