Daily Prompt: Circle of Five

Today’s daily prompt is called Circle of Five and it asks;

A writer once said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” If this is true, which five people would you like to spend your time with?

Well no one now. I don’t want to be the average of five people. I want to be me. Unique. An individual. A person where my ideas and thoughts are my own, not the average of others.

Plus this assumes that I’ll pick up the traits from the five people I’ve picked but it could go horribly wrong. I could pick up their nail biting habit instead and I don’t want a nail biting habit. It’s disgusting.

No I think I’ll work on improving myself by myself. Not trying to leech of off others. That’s lazy.

Although if we are all the averages of the five people we hang around most is anyone truly themselves?

Another terrifying thought, how have I affected people? What have they picked up from me? Well other than sheer awesomeness that is. And perhaps a hint of arrogance.

I’m going to be watch peoples behaviour a lot closer from now on.
