Daily Prompt: Ready, Set, Done!

Today’s daily prompt is another Ready, Set, Done! and as ever it asks;

As it’s been a while since our last free-write… set a timer for ten minutes. Write without pause (and no edits!) until you’re out of time. Then, publish what you have (it’s your call whether or not to give the post a once-over).

Wow for the first time ever I think I’m glad to actually see this prompt.

So… How’s everyone doing? Ready for Christmas? I’m doing so-so with my Christmas preparations. I hate shopping for presents mainly because I’m no good at it, some people are just impossible to shop for.

I’ve seen on the news there are fears that peoples online shopping won’t make it in time for Christmas because there is a huge backlog of stuff because so many people ordered stuff online. Surely companies should be prepared for the extra volume at this time of year? If you offer such tempting sales you need to supply chain to back it up. That’s just common sense. Oh well glad I’m not waiting for anything.

What else? Oh yeah there is meant to be a weather bomb in Britain which sounds like it would be awesome to watch but that’s mainly because in my head I’m picturing a literal bomb in a field that explodes and clouds, rain, snow, fog, sunshine etc., come pouring out of it. Admit that would be awesome to see. However the weather witches just mean its getting very very cold. No snow though, at least not yet.If there is I will build a snowman and post the result for you all to see.

Hmm what else. Anyone doing any New Year resolutions? I would but I know I’m unlikely to stick to them. Maybe I should give them a go.

Hmm I can’t think of anything else to put in here. Although every time I write this prompt it does make me want to write like a weekly journal or something to that effect.
