Todays daily prompt is called Local Color and it asks;
Imagine we lived in a world that’s all of a sudden devoid of color, but where you’re given the option to have just one object keep its original hue. Which object (and which color) would that be?
First can I just say there is a u in colour. See right before the r.
Second this prompt could be a tricky for those who are colourblind (there’s that u again).
And third what the hell?
This is going to make a lot of things either impossible or impractical although saying that we managed to cope with black and white tv’s but surely they are both colour’s so what the hell do things look like?
Would everything just be shades of black, white and grey? But they are colours and you are saying there are no colours.
Also all of a sudden devoid of colour? So it hasn’t always been like that, it just happened all of a sudden? I think the whole world, myself included, would be freaking out. We have just lost colour.
For all we know there’s a global virus that has hit everyone at the same moment, there is something wrong with the sun, a top secret military weapon that was trying to harness the power of light has gone wrong.
We have just lost all colour! This sounds like a very very serious situation. I wouldn’t be sat there thinking about what object I still wish had colour. No I would be barricading my house up trying to protect myself from the riot happening outside as people freak out and predict the end of days.
Although it would be nice if Chelsea shirts still had their lovely shade of blue.
