Todays daily prompt is called Out of Breath and asks;
We all seem to insist on how busy, busy, busy we constantly are. Let’s put things in perspective: tell us about the craziest, busiest, most hectic day you’ve had in the past decade.
Hmm my most busy and hectic day. Probably when I had to get up early, travel from London to Liverpool to hand in my MA dissertation.
Get up early, get dressed and grab bag, get tube to Euston station, get train from London to Liverpool, hand in dissertation at the office, quickly run to the library with a bag filled with about 12 books to return, run over to an office to get a couple of forms filled in the other side of campus, run back across campus to the pub to meet a couple of friends for one last drink, before making a made dash to the train station to catch my train back home with a quick stop at Burger King to pick up something to eat for my journey home.
I don’t want to do that again to be honest. But I had everything planned out beforehand and I packed my bag with all the books and dissertation the night before so it wasn’t exactly a panic. Always have a plan.
