Today’s Daily Prompt is called Reviving Bricks and it asks;
You just inherited a dilapidated, crumbling-down grand mansion in the countryside. Assuming money is no issue, what do you do with it?
Restore it and live in it … Duh.
What else am I meant to do with it?
I suppose I could restore it and sell for a huge profit and buy a nice little house or flat in the city. That’s not a bad idea.
Or I could turn it into some kind of super villain lair but if money is no issue I’d rather go for a volcano base or an underwater lair with an army of sharks. Why limit yourself to a mansion?
Could always build a giant underground base under the mansion. A nuclear bomb shelter, zombie shelter, and all round end of the world shelter, stocked up with movies, games, food, and plenty of booze. Would never have to worry about the end of the world again. Providing I’m close enough to it to get into the shelter in time.
Hmm anyone notice how all my ideas are rather selfish and talk about how I’d only use the mansion for my benefit? Of course I’d let my friends and family live their, no point living in a big mansion all by yourself. Wait is that still selfish?
Hmm maybe this mansion idea does potential. Now to get myself into a position where money is no issue.
